İlhan Aydan

Born in Erzincan in 1976, IIhan completed his undergraduate education in the painting department of Atatürk University,Faculty of Fine Arts, and his master's degree in the communication arts department of Yalova University, Faculty of Social Sciences.
As an artist he has participated in more than a hundred national and international exhibitions and 14 solo exhibitions.
Also having curated many group exhibitions internationally, he has
various works displayed in different museums in Turkey. In his works, the artist depicts the sea and also the architectural structures of Istanbul from his own perspective.
He takes the starting point of the city from the sea and describes his paintings with arguments that sometimes symbolize serenity, sometimes movement and sometimes hope.
He reflects the crowdedness and density of Istanbul by transferring it to his canvas in a more minimal, simpler way and at certain times of the day. Using a spatula, color, perspective and space on his canvases, he aims to make the audience feel the depth and Sofumato effect in his paintings.
You can easily observe the elements that create a feeling of infinity, adding comfort, serenity and spaciousness to the viewer.
